Scot Bertram | A Powerful Tribute to Charlie Kirk
Monday Sep 22, 2025
Monday Sep 22, 2025
Here are 3 big things you need to know—
One — Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Charlie Kirk taught young Americans to be proud of their country. Speaking at Kirk's memorial service in Arizona Sunday, Rubio said Kirk was insanely smart and used his knowledge to take his message to young people across the country. Erika Kirk says she forgives the man who assassinated her husband. She told mourners that Charlie devoted his life to God's will and that his death sparked revival rather than riots.
Two --- The man accused of firing shots at Sacramento's ABC-10 building is back behind bars and set to appear in federal court today. Anibal Hernandez Santana was first arrested after Friday's shooting and released on bail, but was taken into custody again Saturday for allegedly violating a federal law against interfering with government-licensed broadcast stations.
And number three --- The average price for gas in Michigan is up 12-cents a gallon in the past week. Triple-A Michigan says the average is now three-dollars-17-cents, nine-cents less than last month and 21-cents less than last year. The most expensive gas in the state continues to be in Ann Arbor at three-dollars-23-cents, and Traverse City has the most affordable gas at an average of two-dollars-94-cents.

Lorie Medina | A Call Across Generations
Monday Sep 22, 2025
Monday Sep 22, 2025
Scot talks with Lorie Medina, Founder & CEO of MedinaUSA Inc., a business strategy consulting firm with decades of experience in both the private sector and the political arena.
They reflect on the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk and the unique role he played in shaping the hearts and minds of America’s youth. For years, Charlie built a movement that energized young people, giving them confidence to be bold about their faith and convictions.
Now, in the wake of his passing, Medina points out that the tent of influence may be expanding. What began as a youth-driven base could grow wider, bringing in parents, grandparents, and everyday Americans who see Charlie’s legacy as a call to action. Together, they discuss what this shift could mean for the conservative movement and whether Kirk’s tragic death might inspire a new wave of civic and spiritual engagement across generations.

Friday Sep 19, 2025
Friday Sep 19, 2025
Steve sits down with Steve Dulan, professor and licensed attorney, to tackle the debate over hate speech in America. They point out that while the First Amendment protects your right to say almost anything, it doesn’t shield you from the consequences of saying it.
Dulan explains the difference between freedom of speech and freedom of reach, you can speak your mind, but that doesn’t mean your employer, your community, or the public has to accept or amplify it. If someone walks into work and spouts hateful rhetoric, they shouldn’t expect to keep their job.
This isn’t about the government censoring speech, it’s about understanding that words have impact, and accountability comes with the freedom we cherish.

But now, as backlash grows and the consequences turn back on them, the same people who pushed censorship are suddenly crying foul claiming they’re the victims of attacks on free speech.
This conversation highlights the hypocrisy of cancel culture, the importance of defending free expression equally, and how truth is winning out despite attempts to silence it.

Ok—we are burning daylight—and we need to get rolling
Number One— The Feds finally cut interest rates—but it seems the markets were already planning on that happening—so its all baked in—hopefully it will help people get going again—
Number Two— A massive attack on law enforcement in Pennsylvania has left at 3 least 3 officers dead—and an unusual call for the Mexican Consulate in Philly to get involved—that indicates a clear direction for the investigation—
Number Three— The mainstream media and the Democrats' can’t bring themselves to admit that there’s a problem with left-wing political violence. Oh, they love to scream about "threats to democracy" when it suits their narrative, but when one of their own ideological foot soldiers pulls the trigger and kills a conservative—a world famous conservative on a college campus? Crickets. Or worse, outright lies.
