Here are 3 big things you need to know—
One — President Joe Biden has commuted the sentences of roughly 15-hundred people and is pardoning 39 Americans convicted of nonviolent crimes. It’s the largest single-day act of clemency in modern history. Biden said he would be taking more steps in the weeks ahead. Wait ‘til you hear about a couple of the criminals granted relief.
Two ---- The White House says drones spotted over New Jersey are not a threat, if they even exist. National Security Spokesman John Kirby says they have not been able to confirm the sightings. Kirby said the FBI is working with the Department of Homeland Security to further investigate. More video in the skies of New York last night. Just what is going on?
And number three — Time magazine has named President-elect Trump its Person of the Year. He was selected for what the magazine called a comeback of historic proportions. The President-elect celebrated in part by ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday. More on this in a moment …

Here are 3 big things you need to know—
One — Huntes, be on alert. Michigan Democrats want more of your money. Lawmakers advanced a measure to increase fees for state fishing and hunting. Some Republicans are calling it an dishonest cash grab by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources while proponents say it's a necessary step to help fund the state's parks. Either way it could soon cost you more.
Two ---- The Democratic governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker, says he agrees with at least one part of border czar appointee Tom Homan’s plans for a mass deportation campaign. Pritzker said violent criminals who are undocumented and convicted of violent crime should be deported. Now, that sounds like common sense, but for Democrats there’s been an utter lack of that attribute on this issue.
And number three — And an attempted hit job on Pete Hegseth blows up in the face of ProPublica. Newly acquired emails and phone logs reveal just how the West Point story imploded. It includes a West Point spokesperson falsely claiming that Hegseth had not even applied to the institution, much less been accepted. Wait ‘til you hear the details on this.

Here are 3 big things you need to know—
One — Many Americans are getting sticker shock when it comes to the price of eggs. The consumer price index released this week shows the average retail price of eggs has risen 38-percent since November 2023. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, a dozen large Grade A eggs cost three dollars and 65 cents last month. Meanwhile, coffee prices have hit a 47-year record high. Prices are on the way up at the supermarket. And you wonder why voters chose a new path last month …
Two ---- The woman who accused Duke lacrosse players of rape back in 2006 has confessed to lying about those stories. Crystal Mangum now is serving a prison sentence for murdering her boyfriend. The players she accused were arrested, igniting a national controversy. The three players were all found not guilty of the crimes.
And number three — A bombshell report in the New York Times about the University of Michigan’s DEI program. The school has fired an administrator who worked on diversity initiatives over accusations that she made antisemitic comments. The administrator was director of the university’s office of academic multicultural initiatives. She was accused of saying in a conversation at a conference in March that the university was controlled by wealthy Jews, and allegedly said Jewish students were wealthy and privileged.
