Here are 3 big things you need to know—
One — President Trump says some five-trillion dollars in U.S. investments can be expected after his tariffs take effect. On Wednesday, new reciprocal tariffs are set to take effect against Canada, Mexico, China and the European Union. The White House says that will undo decades of those powers taking advantage of the U.S.
Two ---- Two tornadoes are being confirmed to have hit west Michigan Sunday afternoon. The National Weather Service says an EF1 tornado happened in a field near Edwardsburg in Cass County, damaging several homes and businesses and uprooting trees with winds up to 100-miles-an-hour. The second was an EF-0 tornado that was on the ground for four-point-two miles in Gaines Township. No one was hurt by either twister. More severe weather in the forecast for Wednesday.
And number three — United Airlines will soon begin offering Starlink internet service on its regional jets. The airline announced on Monday that it now has FAA approval and the first commercial flight of Starlink equipped aircraft is planned for May. United expects to equip more than 300 planes with the technology by the end of the year.
