Here are 3 big things you need to know—
One — The Senate is adopting a budget resolution after pulling an all-nighter to get through all the amendments being tacked onto a GOP proposal. The vote was 52-48 along party lines. The so-called "vote-a-rama" began last night at the Capitol and lasted until the early morning hours. Senate Democrats filed dozens of amendments in opposition to the budget plan.
Two ---- There are no reports of injuries after three buses exploded near Tel Aviv. Police are calling it a suspected terror attack. Explosive devices on two other buses failed to detonate. Combined with the return of an unidentified corpse instead of a promised Israeli hostage yesterday, the news threatens to tear apart a shaky ceasefire in the region.
And number three — State lawmakers have approved a bill to reform paid sick time laws ahead of a midnight deadline. The House bill blocks a 2018 ballot initiative from going into effect today that would have required companies with at least ten employees to give workers up to 72-hours of paid sick leave a year, and smaller companies would have had to provide at least 40 hours. Small businesses will not be required to offer at least 40-hours of paid sick leave until October 1 now. The bill joins Senate Bill 8 to preserve the tipped wage for servers and bartenders and both are expected to be signed by Governor Whitmer.
