Here are 3 big things you need to know—
One — Around 15-hundred people who were convicted in the January 6th events are now the recipients of presidential pardons. The pardons were among President Trump's acts in first day back in the White House. He also signed an executive order that designates drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and signed an order that rescinds almost 80 of former President Biden's executive actions.
Two ---- Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer says in a statement that she is looking forward to getting to work on the priorities we share with President Donald Trump. She issued a statement yesterday congratulating him on the win and saying she remains focused on fixing Michigan's roads, fighting for advanced manufacturing industries, and working with Canadian partners. Well, that’s a long way from calling him “deranged,” which she previously said.
And number three — The Chicago Bears are finalizing deal to make current Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson their next head coach. Johnson takes over for Matt Eberflus, who was fired midseason following a loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving. The 38-Year-Old coach spent the last six seasons in various roles with Detroit.
