Scot Bertram, A new Labor Day survey reveals seventy-four-percent of people think that inflation is erasing their hard work

Here are 3 big things you need to know—

 

One — Former President Donald Trump is promising that he will require health insurance companies or the government to cover in-vitro fertilization costs.  Speaking in Michigan yesterday, Trump said his campaign is "pro-family," adding that parents would be able to deduct major newborn expenses from their taxes if he's elected.

 

Two ----  President Joe Biden will visit Michigan next Friday.  Where he will be speaking has not been announced.  The White House says Biden will be discussing his "Investing in America" agenda.  This will be his fourth visit to the state this year after previously visiting Saginaw once and the Detroit area twice. 

 

 

And number three — A new Labor Day survey reveals seventy-four-percent of people think that inflation is erasing their hard work.  According to Wallet Hub, two-in-three Americans say that inflation is affecting their Labor Day plans.  Sixty-seven percent of people surveyed believe they're working harder this year than last year; while 93-percent of people want a raise to keep up with inflation.
