Bob Delaney, a geologist, environmental specialist and 30-plus year employee at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
He delivered a 93-page report in August 2012 to a former DEQ director Dan Wyant, warning that shockingly high PFAS levels in fish and documented pollution in the Great Lakes, rivers and wildlife "indicate a significant exposure to Michigan citizens and ecosystems." Michigan is not unique, PFAS contamination is a worldwide problem.
